A minute with Solly

As of today, our five week old son weighs 9 pounds 11 ounces, up over two pounds from his birth weight! Here is a video I took early this morning of an awake and happy baby!

One month already?

Solly is now one month old! He already weighs over nine pounds and I'm pretty sure he's two feet long.






His cord has finally fallen off! Now he can start wearing the fun clothes everyone has been sending him and take a proper bath.



He's been eating like a champ so he can grow big and strong. All that growing can be tiring for all of us, but we are working together as a team.

More people to love me!

Solly is quite the social butterfly! He's already been to a surprise roller skating party, a housewarming bbq (which the hosts missed when Hannah went into labor!), mommy play groups, and a fancy restaurant. Some more first meetings:

Getting to know you...

Solly is now 16 days old and so far, he's been to his own bris (didn't even cry! See Carol Selkin's photo story), gotten his first manicure from Bubbe Carol (see photo) and had a few baths (see photo).




We're slowly learning how to keep him fed and calm. He's a really good boy so far!

He's met lots of his loving friends and family too!


















Mostly, we've just been getting used to our new family and trying to sleep when we can!
