Solly at Two Months!

Hard to believe he is over two months old already. Here are a bunch of photos from the past few weeks. He's really getting into the political season...

Bubbe's Visit (September 7-21)

Bubbe Carol and Poppy Ira came to visit for a couple of weeks. Much fun was had by all.

A few weeks ago we all went to Solly's first Cucumber Derby. I guess it was a first for all of us.

Our car, the Sollycar, didn't do too well, but we learned a lot from the winning cars and will nail it next year.

The Derby was hosted by Noah's family. Noah is the child from the earlier photos who is looking at Solly as he is crying (we got lots of comments on that shot). Here is a newer one from Derby Day.

Bubbe Carol got a few photos to add to her collection of Yankee shots.

Solly was very happy to hang out with Bubbe and is looking forward to seeing her in October!

2-Month Checkup

Today was the dreaded day--Vaccination Time. Solly took it like a champ and is sleeping it off. His new weight is 12 lbs. 6 oz., finally above the 50th percentile. Thankfully, he checked out well.

I have tons of photos to post, including Oona's final shots, and will work on it soon.

Lucky Week 7

Solly is starting to become an old pro at life on land. We're getting around more easily now, and the smiles and fun are consistent now. He is quickly outgrowing his 0-3 month clothes, leading me to think he will be in size 12 months in a flash!




This week, Bubbe Carol came out to help me with Peter back at work. We've been out on the town (and me and Peter got some alone time to go to the movies!)



Today Solly met his friend Leo, who is exactly one month younger. Future plans for mischief are made...

I've been recording greetings from friends and family since Solly's birth. I will continue to record as he meets more people, but here is the first volume.

Six Week Solly

I can't believe how quickly the time is going! Solly is already able to smile, lift his chest, and laugh a little. He loves his play gym and can swing his arms and legs with joy when he's changed. The last few nights he's been able to sleep over 4 hours at a time, which makes us very happy!

This week Peter went back to work, so I've been learning how to get by on my own. The first day was hard, but I managed to take Solly and Babaloo out for a walk together!

First time picking blackberries! Babaloo even learned how to pick them with his mouth. Daddy made me pancakes with them.


The four of us went for a walk down Ruston Way. Not quite the ocean, but at least he's been to the Sound!
